is the longest continuously operating law firm in Shelby County.
The firm originated in 1932, when Raymond Boller came to Sidney
to practice. Michael Boller joined his father in 1966, creating
Boller & Boller, Lawyers. Raymond Boller passed away in 1969,
and Michael Boller formed a partnership with James Stevenson in
1975.
In 1984, Thomas
Kerrigan Sr. and his son Thomas Kerrigan, II, joined to form Kerrigan,
Boller, & Stevenson Co. Duane A. Goettemoeller became a shareholder
of the firm in 1985. Thomas Kerrigan Sr. retired in 1993 from the
practice of law after serving as the Shelby County Juvenile and
Probate Judge. Kerrigan, Boller, Stevenson & Goettemoeller has
provided legal services from its current Sidney office since 1989.
Jeffrey J. Beigel joined the firm as a shareholder in 2003. Heath
H. Hegemann joined the firm as shareholder in 2004. James Stevenson
was elected judge in November 2006 of the Shelby
County Court of Common Pleas.
